Nighttime / After-Hours Deployments and Interventions
It is strongly suggested to AVOID any nighttime or weekend planned intervention (deployment and on-call), including on Fridays. If a situation occurs that requires an intervention outside of regular business hours (from 8 AM to 6 PM, Eastern Time (EDT), from Monday to Friday), a base amount will be charged by Valtech_Absolunet for each 24h-period of the planned intervention, which will be added to the actual hours worked by our team and billed at your current applicable rates.
The following minimum fees apply for nighttime / after-hours interventions:
Weekdays (Monday to Friday, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM)
From 6:00 PM – 11:59 PM = $1,000
From 12:00 AM – 5:59 AM = $2,000
From 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM = $1,000
Weekends (from Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM)
From 6:00 PM – 11:59 PM = $3,000
From 12:00 AM – 5:59 AM = $5,000
From 6:00 AM – 5:59 PM (Saturday or Sunday) = $3,000
From 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday) = $3,000
One premium is charged per intervention per 24-hour period.
- If multiple periods are overlapped on one or more days within the 24-hour period, only one premium will be charged, which is the highest premium applicable for the period.
- If an intervention is scheduled over a period longer than 24 hours, one premium per 24 hour period will be charged, which is the highest premium applicable per period.
If a resource is scheduled, the fees will apply even if no intervention takes place.
If a planned intervention is complex and requires the presence of several resources, Valtech_Absolunet may, at its discretion, advise the client that an additional amount may apply.
This clause may be amended on an annual basis.
