Charles Desjardins ranked among Signifyd’s 2021 list of eCommerce movers and shakers who took on COVID-19.

Absolunet CEO Charles Desjardins was recognized in fraud protection innovator Signifyd‘s list of 2021 eCommerce leaders. Among the diverse collection of honorees, Charles was listed in the categories of Most Influential D2C Pioneers in eCommerce and Most Influential Omnichannel Trendsetters in eCommerce.

Charles, along with the entire Absolunet team, was instrumental in advising brands and distributors during the pandemic, taking a people-first approach to navigating a shifting eCommerce landscape.

“People come first. Take care of them,” Charles tells Signifyd. “This is something that we as an organization knew before. But during such a trying year, with so much uncertainty, the most important thing we did was try to take care of our people.”

COVID-19 and a new approach to eCommerce

Signifyd’s ranking shines a spotlight on the numerous ways businesses used eCommerce as an accelerator amid these unprecedented times. Others recognized on the list took major strides in remote onboarding, forging innovative delivery service partnerships, and using their skills to assist local organizations—donating time and resources to social causes that extend beyond business objectives.
